Sugarcane and Shepherd Desserts is a small bakery business. Charlotte, (me) has a bachelor's degree in Baking and Pastry Arts from the Culinary Institute of America. Our name is an homage to my service dog, German Shepherd, Raviolee who is my source of inspiration. I have lived in Asheville for over 7 years (as of April 2023). I worked at Biltmore briefly however, after a tragic death in the family, and some recurring health problems on my part, I left my position. I started professionally at 16 interning for a catering company, then I completed an externship for the Grand Geneva (a four diamond resort) in Wisconsin as part of my training at CIA. My passion has been present for over twenty years and I am so excited to finally be able to bake for myself and clients I develop a relationship with.
